ARMM
CERTIFICATION
Certification is an assessment of a defined material scope.
APPLICATION
Material and supplier information submitted.
DOCUMENT REVIEW
Technical specifications and evidence reviewed.
MATERIAL ASSESSMENT
Applicable ARMM criteria assessed.
TESTING REVIEW
Relevant performance evidence evaluated.
MANUFACTURING REVIEW
Capability and consistency assessed where applicable.
AUDIT
Factory or process audit conducted where required.
Four levels. One evidence standard.
Certification is awarded only when the applicable score, module minimums, mandatory gates and technical review requirements are satisfied.
≥70 points
Baseline certification, subject to applicable module minimums and all mandatory gates.
≥80 points
Advanced technical certification, subject to the applicable advanced module requirements.
≥90 points
Enhanced requirements, innovation and commercial minimums, and Aaron Factor ≥18/25.
≥95 points
Enhanced manufacturing and traceability verification, higher module minimums, and Aaron Factor ≥18/25.
A failed mandatory gate or unresolved finding that prevents certification cannot be overridden by a high numerical score.
Four distinct classifications. Each has a different purpose.
ARMM records the stage of the process, the decision reached, the certification level awarded and the current validity of a certification separately. One does not substitute for another.
01 — WORKFLOW
SEEN → ACCEPTED
Tracks whether a submission has entered the assessment process. These are workflow states, not certification decisions.
02 — DECISION OUTCOME
REMEDIATION REQUIRED · CERTIFICATION DEFERRED · NOT CERTIFIED
Records the formal decision on the assessment.
03 — CERTIFICATION LEVEL
ARMM APPROVED · ARMM TECHNICAL APPROVED · ARMM GOLD · ARMM PLATINUM
Identifies the level awarded when the applicable requirements are met.
04 — CERTIFICATION STATUS
ACTIVE · SUSPENDED · WITHDRAWN · EXPIRED
Records the current status of an issued certification after the decision.
ARMM does not issue “CERTIFIED WITH CONDITIONS”. A material either meets the applicable certification requirements or it does not.
